| As part of Acton Cleanup Day 2002, sponsored by the Acton Conservation
Trust, the Acton Stream Teams volunteers cleaned up areas: |
- near Ice House Pond - a part of Nashoba Brook
- along Fort Pond Brook, near Jones Field
- along Fort Pond Brook, near the dam on River Street (using a canoe!)
- along Hayward Road and the pond by the Acton-Boxborough High School fields,
near Conant Brook and Coles Brook

The trash collected included bottles, cans, plastic bags, a metal sign,
a watering can, golf balls, styrofoam, a grass seed bag, a traffic cone,
candy wrappers, and empty snack food bags. |
