On Saturday, May 10, 2003, Acton Stream Teams volunteers cleaned up Fort
Pond Brook and surrounding wetlands in an area where the stream crosses
Route 111 west of Knowlton Drive in Acton.

Items removed from the area in and around the stream included a tire, several
hubcaps, scrap wood, metal debris, cans, bottles, styrofoam and paper trash.
In addition to the efforts on this Saturday, a volunteer traveled by boat
the day before and cleaned up trash found in a long stretch of Fort Pond
Brook. |
