This year's Acton Stream Teams display for Earth Day again included spray
bottles and purple koolaid. If this idea sounds familiar, that's because
our model is a new and more durable rendition of our 1999 Earth Day interactive
display. And it's constructed from recycled materials!

| "Rain" from a spray bottle washes "pollutants" from
our yards and roads - into a storm drain - through a catch basin and underground
piping - and eventually into a local "stream". Note dark puddle
of “pollutants” (koolaid) forming in “stream area” in foreground. |
As in the past, our goal was to raise awareness that even if we can't see
a stream or wetland near our homes, we can still affect it through our
everday actions. |
