*(A "long" observation form, identical to the one used in the Spring 1998 shoreline survey, is available at www.mass.gov/dfwele/river/pdf/rivssforms.pdf This form includes background information about the relevance of various stream features [water color, odor, depth, stream bottom characteristics etc.]. Completion of the long form would provide additional valuable data to the Ongoing Stream Survey of Actons streams.
